Practical AI, built on the bayou. Here is how Bayou Intelligence handles information when you visit our site or ask us for help.

What we collect

• Our contact form collects your name, email, optional business name and message.
• Our estimate form collects your name, email, business, optional phone number, message, start timing, service selections and Terms acceptance.
• Barry collects the messages and details you share in chat. Conversations are stored in our Lovable Cloud database and sent through the Lovable AI Gateway to an OpenAI model to answer you.
• We collect page views, clicks, section views and browser identifiers. Our host also uses analytics and session recording to record page interactions. Cookies and similar technology are explained below.
• Payment and billing information is handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not us.

Form details, estimates, chat conversations and our own analytics are stored in our Lovable Cloud database.

How we use it

We use information to reply to your request, prepare estimates, provide and bill services, and run and improve the site. We do not sell your information.

Who helps us process it

• Lovable provides hosting, our Cloud database, the AI Gateway, analytics and session recording via Tinybird.
• Cloudflare provides hosting/CDN and bot protection.
• OpenAI is the AI model provider that answers Barry chats through the Lovable AI Gateway.
• Resend sends emails about estimates.
• Stripe processes payments and card details.
• Google Fonts supplies the website fonts. Google receives your IP address when your browser loads them.
• Discord receives private owner notifications. When Barry saves a lead, its name, business and question are posted to the owner's private channel. New estimate and payment notices include names, businesses, selected items and amounts, but not customer email addresses or phone numbers.

Phone numbers

Phone numbers are only used to reply to your request, and only by phone call or email if you ask. We do not send marketing texts.

Cookies and similar technology

• Cloudflare sets a __cf_bm bot-protection cookie.
• Lovable's /~flock.js analytics script uses a session-ID cookie and sends analytics to Tinybird.
• Lovable's /__l5e/events.js uses rrweb session recording to record page interactions.
• Our own analytics stores a random visitor ID called bi_vid in localStorage and a session ID in sessionStorage. It logs page views, clicks and section views to our database.
• Fonts load from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, which shares your IP address with Google.

How long we keep information

We keep information as long as needed to respond and provide services, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it anytime.

Your choices and deletion requests

You can choose not to submit a form or use Barry. You can clear browser storage or manage cookies through your browser settings. To ask about your information or request deletion, email ks.ai.expert@bayou-intelligence.com.

Children

This site is not for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has shared information with us, contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our site or services change. We will post the updated policy here with its effective date.
